TOUR 2008
Tour this year will be to England’s South coast, to the ‘vibrant’ city of Brighton. This is sure to be very exciting news for some of our members, given Brighton’s reputation for nightlife (to suit all).
The date of the tour is as follows:
Sunday 24th of August until Tuesday 26th of August (incorporating the August bank holiday as usual). You may notice that tour is one day shorter this year, with us departing Brighton for home on the Tuesday rather than the Wednesday.
The hotel being used is the Hilton Metropole on Brighton beachfront. This is a large and stylish hotel which offers a number of good facilities, including:
Beachfront location
Indoor swimming pool and gym
Spa, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room
Brighton attractions 5 minutes’ walk away

During the tour we will play a game against a local opposition on the Sunday (team to be confirmed) and then take in another Pro40 cricket game which this year features two of the countries top sides, in Sussex and Lancashire. Again this game will be live on sky, so anticipate having to get your thinking cap on for some imaginative fancy dress ideas.
The approximate cost of the Tour will be £130 (not inc. tour shirts and travel). However, that does include your ticket to the cricket. All that is needed to book your place on this years tour is a deposit of £40!!!
The £40 is needed ASAP, preferably this weekend in the form of cheque, and certainly NO LATER than the DEADLINE of Saturday June 7th. Please make the cheques payable to REED CRICKET CLUB.
